November 5th-11th
The biggest key takeaways from this week are that we need to continue to do work on this side of the veil as well as the other side, that we all need to strive to have charity in our lives, and that we all have strengths and weaknesses.
Doing work on this side of the veil is very important and easy to do, it consists of just being a disciple of Jesus Christ and showing that to others. We don't need to do any fancy or elaborate thing to do work on this side, we just need to follow the teachings of the Savior and emulate him as best as we can. If we do this then others around us will see the big impact the Savior has in our lives but they will also strive to become like you because that is what the Savior does. He draws people in through his loving kindness which will radiate off of you. Another crucial part is doing work on the other side, not just consisting of doing work in the Temple for our ancestors but also finding stories about them, getting more information for them so that they can eventually receive their essential ordinances in the temple.
Charity is the pure love of Christ, he completed Charity when he suffered for everybody's physical and spiritual pains. We can not emulate this kind of love to others but we can have charity in our lives through the utilization of the Atonement. When we do that then we will be able to love like Jesus.
We all have strengths and weaknesses, we are all human. But that's the amazing part, we first need to get Jesus in our life but also get people in our lives that will uplift us. We are meant to learn and grow together not alone. We learn and grow our strengths and weaknesses when we spend time with other people striving to keep Jesus at the center of their lives.
