The hero's journey was quite an informative talk. One of the biggest things that hit is the fact that the hero's journey is all about you but not about you at all. In the end of this life there are three great questions that are very important and that is have I contributed something meaningful, am I a good person, and who did I love and who loved me. In the end we don't want our lives to be pointless, the point of being on this earth is to grow and learn but that isn't a journey just for yourself. It is a journey that you take with everyone else in this world, we need to make a difference not only in our own lives but in the lives of those we know and those that we don't know. We have to find out passion in life, we have to find what we are at the best at and take it and run with it. That is where you will be able to make a meaningful impact with. Your calling is something that you lose time with. Something that you do that you just find great joy in and somehow the time just passes even though it doesn't feel like it. To determine if we were a good person in the end is determining if we followed and abided to our moral guardrails. We have to be very conscious of our actions, many times in our lives we will come to the crossroads of either disregarding our guardrail or choosing that thing that is within our guardrail. Those we love and those who love us are very detrimental on who we become and what we accomplish. They keep us on track to the goals we want. Surround yourself with those you don't have the same guardrails as you, then you'll start to change your guardrails, you goals. Surround yourself with those that will push you and challenge you.
